Plane Carrying Pete Hegseth Required to Land in UK Due to Crack in Windshield

A plane ferrying the US defense secretary was forced to make an emergency landing in the UK on Wednesday following a fracture was identified in the jet's front window, as stated by an announcement which verified that the secretary was unharmed.

"The aircraft touched down based on standard protocol and all passengers, among them Pete Hegseth, is safe," a spokesperson commented in a online announcement.

Hegseth was returning from a short visit to the city of Brussels when the incident occurred.

This incident isn't the initial instance that a US military aircraft ferrying a top government figure has encountered technical problems.

Months ago, a US Air Force plane transporting Marco Rubio to the German city of Munich was forced to head back to the US capital after encountering a technical issue.
