Instructor Fatally Shot and Two Dozen Pupils Seized in Gunbattle at Nigerian School
Gun-wielding individuals have fatally shot an educator and seized a minimum of 25 learners in an assault against a female high school in the northwestern part of Nigeria, according to police.
The armed faction breached the public educational institution for female students in Kebbi State's Maga area at around 4 AM local time on the beginning of the work week, officials stated.
The assailants "engaged police personnel on duty in a shootout" before scaling the perimeter fence and taking the pupils captive from their hostel, according to a statement.
